Apex makes Inc.’s 5000 list for the 5th time

RICHMOND, VA- August, 2009 - Inc. magazine has released its annual rankings of the fastest-growing privately held companies in the U.S., and for the fifth time in nine years, Apex Systems is on the list, ranking as number 2,493 on the magazine’s 2009 "Inc. 5000.”

Inc. ranks companies based upon percentage growth in revenue from 2005 through 2008. To qualify, companies must be based in the U.S. and be privately held, not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies as of December 31, 2008, and have had at least $200,000 in revenue in 2005, and $2 million in 2008.

Apex posted growth of 102.7% during the period measured, growing from $182.2m to $402.2m. Apex was also recognized as the 69th largest company by revenue on the list of 5,000, and posted the 62nd highest increase in gross revenue dollars.

Apex has made Inc.’s list on four other occasions- in 2008 (#1,626), 2007 (#1,399), 2002 (#288), and 2001 (#51).
